Help Please - Clothing Manufacturer

Hi Guys,

My wife has always harboured an ambition to design her own line of equestrian clothing, kind of along a similar line as Joules.

I am interested in reccomendations for reasonably priced clothing manufacturers who will accept short-runs of her designs.

Alibaba.com would be a good place to start if you're looking for overseas manufacturers.

As for UK manufacturers, I'd just do a few Google searches and see what you come up with.

There's a place called Underworld in Weatherfield, Manchester, hear they aren't very busy at the moment, maybe you could strike an unbelievable deal.

In all seriousness though, I'd suggest having a look around for factories within the UK, helps sell your product IMO.

The price is competitive to compare with Chinese manufacturers as lower labor cost and quality is the same as Chinese manufacturers.
