can I be a limited company??

I owned a website but I dont know how much my profit will be...can i register as a LTD company??? and If I cant and then register as a sole trader can I give invoices to my clients for my services provided??

You can give invoices whether you're a sole trader or a ltd company :|

Are you UK based? If not, this may not apply.

Yes, anyone can form a ltd co. You can do it online in a couple of hours.

You can issue invoices as a sole trader. You don't register in the same way, just notify the relevant authorities of what you are doing.

BUT - before you do any of that, speak to a professional advisor, i.e an accountant. Please!

You personally cannot be a limited company - the base concept of a limited company is that it is a legal entity in its own right. If you meet the necessary requirements though you can form a limited company of which you can be a director and/ or shareholder.

Any form of entity can issue invoices and request payment from their clients.

If your in the UK and operating as a sole trader you will need to register with HMRC as self employed

If you've started trading (you mention you have a website) not sure if you are aware but you do need to register with HM Revenue & Customs. Have a look here http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/selfemployed/iwtregister-as-self-employed.htm
