Dissolving a Ltd Company

Hi

Whats the best course of action in this scenario:

I registered a ltd company in feb 2010, and registered it as dormant with HMRC. For whatever reason, it hasnt worked out and I am looking for the cheapest and easiest solution to tie it all up.

I have no turnover or expenses as nothing has been done (apart from some stuff with my own money which I am happy just to let go), no bank account etc.

Why not keep it - all you have to do is a DCA form and annual return each year, probably take you 20 minutes in total. You might want to use the company for something else in future.

DCA to HMRC and AR to companies house? and thats it?

Does anyone have a link to what these forms look like? The dormant accounts seems stupid to me, there will just be a zero on it! Whats the reasoning behind it?

My view - you can get a new company free now:

So why pay £15 for the annual return plus hassle of DCA?

Close it down and start again if / when you have a viable business.
