How to promote my website?

Hello everyone,

I'm Shadow.
As my website set up for several years, and the page rank rose up to 6. But, recently, i find so difficult to do the link exchange with other websites. I had sent about 100 banner exchange request to those website with page rank from 4-7, and hardly got any replies.
I was depressed.

Can you offer me some better ways to do the link exchange or other ways to promote my website.

Create a website that offers value to your visitors, and they will promote your website for you.

Also, forget about PageRank. Focus on your visitors.

You're not an SEO expert though, I don't mean to be blunt but I can tell that from the few posts you have made and with one glance at your website.

Well, it might make me cruel but I feel it's just got to be said sometimes, heh.

Businesses come on here looking for professional and sound SEO advice and there are far too many SEO companies/freelancers on here that are eagerly waiting to snap their hand off and rinse them dry when they clearly don't know anything about the subject. (This is not aimed at anyone directly).

And as you know, visitors are the most important part of the website. And the thing we should do is to attract more visitors and stay more ones.

Shadow, my recommendation here would be not to reciprocate any links and concentrate on looking at social media platforms and constructing a 'link bait' strategy to attract organic links.

To do this you need content. Bloody good content - find something that your 'linkerati' (people likely to link in with you - bloggers around your niche etc) will like. A great way to attract natural links is to create lists - 101 ways or to generally sell information for free. Hitting the right link bait at the right time can pay absolute dividends with natural inbound links and can work miracles with rankings - forget about PageRank - if you rank well for lucrative search terms and long tail terms, the sales will follow.

If you need any information on link baiting and setting up social media strategies, just shout and i'll give you some tips.

Hi there,
Unfortunately that sort of affiliate marketing is dying just because people no longer bother into help amongst themselves. I would say that having exchange links with permission will work 2 out of 10 requests.
You have three solutions to promote your website:
1. Learn SEO yourself
2. Learn SEO from an expert
3. Hire a consultant
I can imagine the one you’ve chosen right now would be the first one. I would recommend you would first lean SEO for yourself. This is simply because, later on, you would need an expert to provide you with more accurate information and consultancy towards SEO. At that stage you would know all the technical lingo and for sure, the probabilities of you being scammed would decrease considerably.
For a general knowledge on how to promote you website you can have a look though on the web.
First things first – Web Strategy - Blogs, Core Website
Long Tailed Keywords – benefits(words) most searched from possible customers and their optimization
Link building – Think of your product as a spider = biggest the spider web, higher probability of catching a fly

Maybe talk to the web owner directly, and the webmaster will exchage links with you . in my view, it's easy !

But, unfortunately i found most of the website likes to contact with online feedbacks.

So, that is why i have get reply after filling the feedbacks.

I don't think that you should face any problem while you are having the link exchange with other sites. You are already having the PR6 and I think most of the websites relevant to your niche would love to exchange with you. Let me say you should improve your communication.
