Barclays always pretty solid, pair with wise.com for international transfers.

Santander + Wise.

Santander has UK call centres and I always manage to get through on the phone without excessive waiting. Their chat bot is also OK, the few times I've used it.

The reason I said it depends is that what works well for me may not suit you. For example, if I like a bank because of its mobile app, but you’re more interested in face-to-face service, then my answer won’t really help. So rather than me just naming one, it’s more useful to think about what you actually need from a bank, and then see which one matches those needs best.
