Wprdpress Themes

Hi all,

Not going to lie, this is for my benifit but also think it could help alot of people on the site. After loads of searching google have found some ok sites but i am sure there is loads more i could benifit from.

Just seeing if anybody had any top sites to get free wordpress themes from?

wordpress.org has got a pretty good choice.

Yes, Wordpress itself has some really good themes. I've searched a lot in the past and then gone back to that starting point.

Also, not a lot of themes on their site, but I have used a design from dailyblogtips.com that I really liked.

Smashing Magazine usually have some good "Best of" lists as well

I have been using smashing magazine aswell. Some really good ones on there.

As a pro-member I use RocketTheme a lot for Joomla and phpBB3. They also do Worddpress templates.

I have to admit to be one of those people who only ever uses Wordpress.com's themes (freshy theme in particular). I REALLY need to work out how to use wordpress.org, so maybe one day I'll give myself a few days to figure it out. I have a few private blogs (a sailing blog and a business ideas and theories style blog) and they all use Freshy theme. I think this probably needs changing

+1 but also consider your local college/uni - sometimes you can get lo-cost work by students who then the design for for portfolios.
