Working with a convicted sex offender

As its usually going to be the criminals breaking criminal law they can make an impact. Other things a lesser impact or no impact.

How many criminals are going to be committing crimes without a choice? I would guess a low number. If I hold a gun to your head to force you to steal from a business then yes you could be said to not have a choice. Are there other circumstances where there isn't a choice?

Is there an age of accountability? Can we say of an 8 year old sent by parents to shop lift as a means of financing drug habits, that the 8 year old is 100% at fault, because they chose to obey their parents? Then themselves becoming addicts and committing crimes to feed it, driven by the horrendous and very severe withdrawal symptoms as making a choice? Yes, the child and adult make a choice whether a gun is at their head or whether by addiction, to commit the lesser evil or avoid terrible pain.

We have a choice to say no and have our brains blown out and die on moral high ground or to commit the evil to possibly avoid death.

Like, he screwed me on that deal. Yeah, sure he screwed me in the wall or into a piece of wood? It's figure of speech not to be taken literally. Lol

Everyone with an addiction acts the same? Or some act different?
If some act different then its a choice, not a compulsion followed by everyone.

At what age should a child know to not steal?

I think this depends on the age of the child and type of crime. Sexually abusing a baby is very different to say a 20year old man have a relationship with a 15year old girl who looks older, acts older and did all the running. I'm a woman uim my 30s and some of these teenage girls are intimidating.
