I have a very basic Wordpress site and desperately need a banner at the top rather than what l have now. I am not tech savvy and wondered if anyone could recommend a YouTube video that could talk me through it!

What do you know about Wordpress? Some sites have sometimes a plugin to handle the header.

Not quite sure what you mean by the banner.

The vandana-lite theme you use will have all sorts of options. This will let you change the menu bar at the top and the logo below. If you want anything else you may need to switch to a different theme.

When you say you want a banner at the top, can you expand on what 'banner' means to you as it could mean different things to different people. For example, to me it means an advertising banner selling banking or insurance, etc.

Customise > General settings > Notification Bar Settings

You'll probably need to use some css to style it.

Trouble with ChatGPT is it just regurgitates what it's been fed, can't distinguish between wrong and right advice and when it doesn't know something it'll just make shit up. It's not a magic bullet.
