Business owners, please can you help me research a topic for a new book.

Q From the list below, which one subject would help you the most?
  • Increasing your bottom line profits
  • Increasing sales
  • Getting more referrals
  • Working 1 day a less per week but earning the same money
  • Increasing prices without losing sales
  • Managing people eg employees, contractors, suppliers etc..

Q Whatever you have chosen, do you believe you can achieve this for your business with the right guidance?

Q Is there anything else you would like to ad?

Many thanks for your assistance.

Then I would suggest, you contact a publisher and see if they would be interested in you doing a series of business books... but you'd have to prove your credentials first, i.e. what experience have you had in these areas and can you show examples of where you've been successful and if others can obtain the same results following your examples.

I have highlighted and numbered parts of your post to ease the process.... ;)

(a) proofreading is an integral element of writing a book, one would assume you could transfer this skill to writing posts...but maybe not.

(b) you seem to have misunderstood the rationale behind the concept, increasing prices nearly always results in lower sales, but not always lower turnover, for guidance you can use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demand_curve.

(c) Managing employees is a separate subject to managing contractors, which is also separate from managing suppliers, and not forgetting customers (four guides to write)

(d) Spelling...add does have 2 D's :)

In defence of the OP, I always say, I'm doing posts in between working, so there are likely to be errors, so don't judge my service on the quality of my posts.

And a "P" where the "S" should be... :p

But here's a keyboard layout I'd like to try, it's called Colemak and is supposed to be faster and more efficient than the clunky QWERTY we've all got used to:

1) I have read articles on all those subjects and the occasional book, its been done before, many times, there is nothing left to write differently. Bullet point 6 seems the best as it seems the less just-a-quick-article-to-create-some-content-for-adsense blog posts you get everywhere. Or those ebooks.

2) Guidance? Mentor? Business partner? professional? or reading a book?

I don't like the assumption that despite being on a business forum your universal understanding that no one here as achieved any of those goals before... I have been in business for several years, and most established members have probably been in business for over 30 years... its almost like you are trying to sell us an ebook or something. "I will make you rich, honesttt"

3) Not normally given such an opportunity, but here goes...

I would like to advertise a used office desk with cable management, anyone interested?
