It is for business use, not Ikea chipboard standard. Items will be put in and out daily, not metal but not woolly jumpers either :)

Wouldn't be difficult to make but as customer facing, a professional finish would be best.

Finding a local joiner is one option, metalworker another I guess, if they still exist.

These people do made to measure units, They started as fireplace manufacturers and supplied me in my old company. A family firm, they were much better and reasonable than the "standard" firms. In recent years they have been doing bedrooms and furniture for hotels.

Phone and ask for Steve, I am not sure if Kip is retired, but he is family and often answers the phone. They will build anything, and deliver to site.

May I suggest contacting a local joiner? They can construct it exactly how you want it with the exact finish. If a reputable joiner puts it together, more often than not, it will last you a life time and wont run the risk of falling apart like some flat pack furniture.
