Morning,

We have been using Whatsapp Business quite successfully and wondered what everyone's experience with it is?

We use it for incoming enquiries regarding services and general communication.

The main issues we have is
-having a linked device log out and then struggling to reconnect as we work remotely. It means someone has to get hold of the one main phone...
-Missing messages that have been made read

Look forward to hearing of how you get on with it

Why not use a web service which can stay permanently connected (I assume they exist)

We use an email app/tool called Missive. I am not paid to promote them, we're not affialated in any way, we pay for their services.

In any event it links to all our "incoming" lines of communication, including e-mails/whatsapps, a whatsapp for us visually (and practically) looks no different to an e-mail, dependent on source, we triage the message and hand everything over to the relevant person where the message will effectively become a task/to do for them to reply back to. All can be tracked/reviewed dependent on permissions/visibility of inboxes etc.

For the record, I wish we had done this a lot sooner and the only reason we did do it was near on collapse of our service standards, we were pretending an Office365 sub could actually deal with the new demands of customers. When everyone was pinging us Whatsapp's and texts a lot of our business communication was simply not being managed.

If you're a one man band with memory of all work, this isn't an issue, if you have a team of people reliant on visibility of past communication, knowing what was agreed and clear responsibility assigned its a problem that needs to be addressed!
