Seriously, I have never heard anyone say 'my bad'. What does it mean ?

I forgot a pet UKBF hate. On a daily basis people come on here looking for 'advise' or start threads on 'advise'

Why can't they ask for advice ?

It's creeping in and I've heard people on the box and people I'm in the company of say it. If someone does something wrong they shriek and say "Oh sorry, my bad". At which point I take out my ray gun and vaporise them.

lol Captain. My bad is a funky/hip term used by people going through a mid life crisis and who want to sound younger and cooler than they are.

It's a way of saying "I'm sorry but actually I'm not"

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=my bad

Careful now, OWG has used it in some threads, although I'm thinking he'll stop now, although that might be my bad......OK shoot me.

Listen peeps

You're getting all hot under the collar about colloquialisms. Most dudes don't really mind using phrases from other countries because it makes them look a little cooler in front of their mates.

Now this kind of hate against people for using certain phraseology is kinda wrong (if I typed that word incorrectly, then my bad) and shouldn't be allowed.

Anyways I've gotta run

right here we go

The NHS seems to be the European Health Service. Take payer expected to pick up the tab for every Joes treatment

Speed Cameras, ok in their place, but when there are other issues like unlit roads and no cats eyes but we winge about speed

Lorries who nip into the middle lane without indicating

Eastern Europeans driving on our roads wheras British have to take one of the worlds toughest driving tests for the priveledge.

All these PPE qualified politicians who have not the first clue about whats happening on the street and still make life changing and damaging decisions.

I will stop for breath but there will be more i am sure!

Americanizations
That spelling is itself an Americanisation. ;)

1) People who use the word "text-ses" instead of "texts".
People who use "text" as the past tense instead of "texted": "Barry text everyone this morning to let us know he'd be late." It's stupid, it sounds stupid and anyone that uses it sounds stupid too. Barry also needs to get his sh*t together.

Agreed, although our test should be a lot harder than it is. :/

no it wouldn't. You can't account for human error no matter how much you test people and harder tests doesn't mean less people on the road it just means people will spend more passing their tests.
Human error is just lack of judgement. People with consistently or naturally poor judgement get filtered. Stupid people get filtered.

And fewer people passing would mean fewer people on the road. Passing a harder test is about being a better driver and has nothing to do with spending more money. Unless you mean bribing the instructor?
