The tapier has always been my favourite browser. There is one called Nigel at Chessington.

If I'm using the computer to surf the information superhighway I like to use Netscape Navigator.

I've heard of this chrome thing. How does it work? Do I have to send my browser way to get polished or is it like a bolt on accessory. I currently have a formica finish that is very scratched so I think chrome might look much nicer. I've been looking at some cool brushed steel as well, can I get my browser made in this? It there a eco friendly version made of recycled milk cartons or something.

Another question, when I close a window on my computer where does it go? I've looked in the recycle bin and can't see them anywhere.

I have one box for address / search on both firefox & chrome ;)

I use firefox as my main browser... because it is the only one which does decent colour calibration - it will correctly show photos as sRGB whether or not they have the profile in the EXIF - Safari only does it if labelled in the exif, chrome and ie not at all...

as we run calibrated systems here and I do a lot of photography teaching / support / and all our design, that is quite important.

otherwise, run Chrome and FF interchangeably - and ie only when necessary - we have test machines here with ie 6 / 7 on and older versions of FF etc.

I have used FF for some years now (currently Firefox 3.6.10) & generally love it & its ability to have tags. I have a lot of folders & bookmarks. BUT......when I go to save a bookmark (favorite for IE fans) it has a nasty habit of saving to a previously used folder-what can cause this??

Not keen to move away from FF because I don't want to lose the tag facility.

Any ideas?

thanks

Google Chrome.

I use firefox for websites that can't handle chrome and get annoyed at how slow it is. And how full of stupid add-ons it gets.

Chrome is great as you rarely get a pop-up or anything like that saying "Make Yahoo your default search engine" or "Install the [totally shite] web bar that uses Lycos for search" or "Would you like to make [obscure product] your homepage?"

Chrome is fast and it works, however I know my programmer hates it as it doesn't do well with poorly executed Javascript.
