What would you type into google?

Ok guys, help me out here.

The scenario;

You have just moved into the town of Oxford. You have a dog, a cat and a rabbit. You'd like to find somewhere local to buy the animals food, etc.

Without thinking too much about it, tell me first thoughts, what phrase/word would you type into Google (or any search engine) to find what you were looking for?

Or, if you didnt think directly of using a search engine, where would you look first?

Your input would be appreciated.

Honestly, I would probably go to the supermarket first.

But when I had a few minutes, I would probably try both of the searches above, perhaps being more specific (e.g. with name of district, or a nearby street).

I find using keyword generators quite useful. Google adwords tools have quite a neat one which gives you an idea of likely search volumes.
This is on the assumption that you are hoping to drive business to your site.

I'd also concentrate on ensuring that you include the area's in oxford, ensuring you include the main words together too - i.e. pet food petfood,

I would have have naturally typed 'pet shop oxford'. Glancing at Google Adword Keyword Generator it indicates that 'pet shops oxford' is more popular. Obviously this is a niche term so the figures it puts out should only be used as a guide.
