What value are Contributors

In the new, worse, UKBF there are a number of articles down the left hand side giving advice in different areas. It is interesting that most, if not all, the contributors to those articles in the Employment and HR forum are from Peninsula employees. Peninsula has been heavily slated by most, if not all, UKBF members.

I posted a question recently on the Accounts Forum, called 'SSP Calculation'. It got a lot of views but no responses. I then asked the Mods to move it to Employment and HR Forum to see if it got a response there. It got no response. I then posted on the thread asking the Contributor from Peninsula, who had posted advice about sick leave. if she could advise. The silence has been deafening.

What, exactly, do these 'Contributors' contribute to the forum?

You can set your display up so that the left hand column is not seen, I have done it on advice from another member, but I cant recall how!

Remember the survey UKBF did a while back? @Dan Izzard was supposed to feedback the results. But didn't.

I occasionally look at some the articles and they are as bad as the crud that appears in BusinessZone.

Nine out of ten of those articles are platitudinous twaddle, written by people who obviously have never been anywhere near the rockface of business.

It's interesting that the article writers contribute nothing to the forums themselves. Makes you wonder why they are called Contributors.
