I'm building a platform where you can book vetted local, on the ground services in other countries (right now US, China, UK, Europe) to complete tasks locally.

Some of the services local taskers can accomplish for you:

Attending local trade show
Visiting factory/products
Verifying a local business/property/documents
Registering local business/handling tax/vat
Shopping for local items to ship to you
Anything you can think of that needs to be done will be done for you as long as it's within legal laws of the local country

What other services would you like to add or need to use when we launch?

If you would like to sign up to be our
First local agents (only in the aforementioned countries)

or

First users/customers with a 20% discount for first purchase on ANY task in ANY country (launching 1st March onwards)

Please DM/comment

Otherwise any feedback and constructive criticism welcome - either with regards to the service or what we can add on/offer.

Thanks!

None of the above. Who is doing the vetting? To what standard are they being vetted? How are these services paid for?

Why would I want to use your services in preference to all other providers?

It's pretty random. I'm struggling to think when I might use any of these services.

The biggest challenge is that if I did need them, I'd need absolute certainty that the party I was using was 100% legit and competent- which means pretty much the same due diligence as finding them myself
Thanks for the feedback. The taskers would be locals living in the country who have signed up to offer their services. Payment is held until they've delivered their end of the project - whatever was agreed on, whether it's photos, files etc. And there would be the chat option to find out if they're open to completing the task within the designated deadline.

Great. So presumably your customers don't pay you until the service is satisfactorily provided.

Being local isn't enough. If I want someone to go check out a local factory and assess if the company is trustworthy, how do I know the local has any idea what they should even be looking for?

That's what "vetting" means - checking that the person has the knowledge and skills required to complete the task. I would NEVER entrust some random stranger who I couldn't even speak to to register a company, deal with paperwork or taxes for me.

I’d want to speak directly to the person doing the work.

I want a video call while they are in the factory.

I want you to personally be responsible for the deliverables not the random local who signed up to your website.
