What Phone Provider do you use for telesales

Hi,

Just wondering if i can get any tips for a provider to use for Telemarketing obviously dailing alot of calls and needing probebly unlimited minutes per month.

What do you telemarketers use to call to make your sales ?

A landline ?
VOIP ?
Buisness Mobiles ?

Regards ,

Luke

I was going to use a BT landline to make mine, but the fair use policy gets in the way. BT have a fair use policy they have a maximum of 1000 minutes or 150 calls a month. What other landlines can I use which are actually suitable for telesales. I am a freelance telemarketer by the way :)

Is there any landline providers someone would reccomend for me that you use and what is thier fair use policy ?

Regards,

Luke

That sounds great although after doing a postcode check I cannot have it in my area (Fibre-obtic not available) as it is very rural. We only have a BT line installed so really ... This is my only choice next to VOIP ?

Skype,

Three pounds odd a month and unlimited calls to UK landlines. Use it all the time with a headset with no problems at all. And free calls to all other skype members worldwide

Hi Luke, VOIP might be your best bet but it will depend on your minutes usage and where and what you are calling. I still have contact with one of my old employers who offer good packages so if you let me know how many minutes you use per day/month and where to e.g. UK and what to e.g. landlines or mobiles then I can see what deal they can sort out for you.

For reference our call prices are 1p per minute to UK landlines. Packages bring that down to 0.9p pm.

We tried skype with our outbound autodialer and the amount of problems was unreal. At the moment we use BT Business which as far as we know hasnt hit us with a fair usage policy (we make around 300 differant calls a day) It is such a huge cost doing telesales so my advice is do it hard, do it right otherwise its kinda pointless.

I agree with Warmview. I tried using Skype for telesales around a year ago and it was a nightmare because they have a fair use policy and we ended having multiple skype accounts for each agent which got confusing.:|

We sell business mobiles too - how about this - Orange Business sim only tariff for £15 with 30 day rolling contract. 3000 landline mins, 450 cross network mins, free voicemail, unlimited texts and 1GB Internet.

That works out to less than half a penny per min + you are not tied into contract. Send me a PM if you are interested and i can get the sim delivered to you the next working day.

We provide VoIP for telesales teams. VoIP offers so much more functionality than a normal landline. You can monitor how many calls each of your telesales teams are doing in a day. Added features like call recording - ideal for training purposes and quality control. Receive voicemail in email, route calls to correct person etc. Caller ID enables you to call back if you miss a call and most important you can see your call logs as they happen and how much they are costing you :) If you would like an online demo just pm and I can set one up for you. Our prices are very competitive and we use per second billing.

    Great Question.
It’s all about cost. Do you want the cheapest possible cost. In which case you can use Voip in its different disguises or Do you want quality, by which I mean a clear line, perfect quality, no delay or interference on the line.
I use BT and have done for 8 years within my call centre. I do so because I am guaranteed to get connected first time, the line will be perfect and the prospect can here me clearly. I have trialed different type of providers and always been disappointed in the quality of the line I receive. In fact I am convinced that during these trials were the line quality was compromised my team delivered less results.
So I am BT through and through. I could never be convinced with any current alternative or technology to change purely because I get a better return on investment with BT despite the cost than any other cheaper technology provider
    Hope that helps

There's no reason at all why you should see any difference in call quality (except an improvement) using a VoIP transmitted call to a 'normal' TDM one. In fact almost all calls transit BT's networks as VoIP now anyway. if you see any call degradation it simply means you didn't have it set up properly locally or used a poor provider.

In regards to the orange business sim only someone mentioned earlier, how do these sim only deals work? Can you get them on a payg prepay? Do you have to be trading for x number of years to qualify etc

    Any help appreciated

    Hi Newmedia,

This tariff is not available on PAYG. Time in business is not important however you do need to pass a basic credit check. PM me with your email and i can send you the full info.

    Hi Tangerine dream,

Most of the call centres I deal with have the same view as you. However, if you had a provider who used the BT Openreach infrastructure but provided a far superior customer experience at a much lower cost, would you consider switching?

The quality of calls would be exactly the same as before because the calls would still go through the BT network.

Question on mobile sim - we do this via mobile 3 network - you can record all of your calls off your mobile and also view call logs of you and/or sales team mobiles - great for managing remote workers - also good for you to see your call logs and cost happening in real time at touch of button - We offer VoIP phone lines and Mobile Sim via VoIP. The other nice feature of the mobile Sim is that it looks like you have phoned from the office - as your office number ID displays rather than your mobile.

    Hi Guys,

this is something we specialise in and something we also have in place (our own call centre).

Give me a call on 0845 224 7017 tomorrow and we can talk about the options and suggest what is best for you.

our rates for call centres are 0.7p local with Pence per second billing.

Have you considered a premicel unit?

    Regards
