What is the quickest business bank account to set up?

Hello, I read it takes about 4 weeks on average to open a business bank account. Would you please share with me what bank did you open with and how long it took? thanks ?

I understand Cashplus is a quick setup its not perfect but your question suggests that you need it up and running quickly

Took me two days to set up a NatWest account.

Metro - about 2 hours
Lloyds - 1 day after appointment
Tide - 4 days ( mostly due to their app faults)
Fire - 1 week

The others, cant recall but none have been particularly long *if* they've gone ahead

As @JEREMY HAWKE states, Cashplus are almost instant (our systems in our core business plug into Cashplus returning account number and sort codes within minutes). Tide can also achieve this but @astutiumRob has clearly experienced issues.

Other ones which are pretty instant would be CountingUp (a the founder is a member of UKBF but not been on here for a few years), ANNA Money, Mettle (which is run by Natwest) and Revolut. If you want speed then you would probably want to avoid the high street banks.
My daughters business account was setup within 2 days with main branch Natwest but she already had a personal account with them.

I use tide and my account was setup if I remember right in a couple of hours, nothing major.

We bank with Starling Bank and our business account was opened in minutes. Their support services are very good too. Will never go back to a high street bank again.
