Dear forum members! I need a little help from native English speakers experienced in good company names. I would like to ask you what do think of when you see this site name:
mronk.com
What can be this about? Any word association / image comes to your mind? If you feel any emotion (positive or negative) what is it?

I'm not a native, so thats why appreciate any help. Read on only if you have created your opinion.

MY GOAL: I'm looking for a name which is appropriate for my online presence as a little crazy indie app developer. This is also a nickname which my friends gave me. I dont want to feel very tech-serious, but I dont want to feel ashamed either when I link my site. :)

Another more professional sounding studio name ideas (which are not good as nickname). But I'm still interested if you like any of them?
  • dicemoon.com
  • mooncombo.com
  • ifcliff.com
  • neverendingo.com
  • amio.app

I have a list of more hundred of name ideas which I wont link here :). However I show my criteria list:
  • Unique in the world
  • Easy to remember
  • Not ashamed to say
  • Clear in spelling and pronunciation
  • Generate some non-negative emotion / 'taste' / character / connection instead of neutral tech words.
  • Keep it short
  • Usable as studio name and nickname
  • Domain .com free
  • 'Ok I got it' reaction instead of 'wtf is this name'?

Nobody anywhere in the world cares about the name you choose. Nobody cares how you describe yourself. All they care about is your ability to deliver a project on time and within budget.

None of your suggestions have a taste or feel. Mronk sounds like a meme misspelling of ‘moron’. Keep it simple and just use your name.

Neologisms may work, but they would need very strong marketing to add meaning to the word. Words that seem like real words but aren't could be a better alternative e.g. squaggle (which exists as slang). I don't believe that relatedness to the product matters – but at least make sure it's something people can say. Sounds have psychological relationships with emotions. Which word is more aggressive: tartar or zumzum? Which word is warm: kashin or maima? I'd expect you'd pick tartar for the first and maima for the second.
