Hello to all, I am new here and would kindly ask you for help.
I started a business with my friend. We design and produce handmade sneakers for daily use. We are producing also a special printed sneakers, which allow us to design and print on sneaker textile almost everything. <edit>
We think that we have a good products, handmade produced from 100% textile and natural rubber. Produced in Europe. We started online shop. But this was the last success. We have e-shop which works without problems, we have good product, but no customers. From April 2017 til now, we sold cca 10 pairs of sneakers and those just to friends and family.
We work daily on marketing. Mostly instagram/facebook. On facebook we paid for ads but without any results. On instagram we are trying to find cooperation with stronger accounts/bloggers/influencers.

I can see that website has some visit per day, sometimes 10 people are visiting at the same time but we can not turn it into selling products.

I would kindly ask those who are more experienced in internet business what shall we do? Be patient and slowly building brand name and wait to first real customers? Or use some GIVE AWAY to bring sneakers to people?

thanks
Peter

If it's the Norwegian based company...
It doesn't show up on my 1st page Google search for "Streetson", Haven't updated Facebook since mid June, and perhaps do a monthly update...
If you're not the Norwegian based company.... You're doing worse than them...
Do more to engage customers. Marketing isn't just promoting your own stuff and shouting about it.

Oh found it, Yeah the Norwegian Top level domain won't help international ranking.

Also you need to use SEO friendly urls like /mens/shoes
rather than the structure you use now, which is
index.php ?id_category=15&controller=category&id_lang=1

not only do your page links not contain SEO rich keywords, all pages are routed via the index.php page and use URL variables. This is not good practice at all for SEO and is a big issue you should look at fixing.

Depending on your CMS you need to look at 301 redirecting these old links and also performing mod rewrites on the urls so they contain descriptive text (like breadcumb links)

I suspect you are correct and there maybe a number of things wrong here, however not knowing much about trainers or their pricing etc I can't help in that respect. I can however see some pretty major website issues for sure though and these need fixing for sure.
With typical ecommerce conversation rates of 2 -3% the more visitors the better.

The shoes look cool like

Streetson appears number one on Google Norway but is non existent on Google UK and America.

Your .com has no content just a simple redirect and that is why you have no ranking there. If you are looking to trade internationally then I would switch things around and have your content on the .com or at the very least a direct uptodate duplicate of .no with relevant SEO.

It looks like you are using a Wordpress site which has plenty of SEO plugins to assist you.

Attracting online influencers in your market area is a great way to go but also consider trade shows in your market.

Hope this helps,

Kind Regards

This - you need to understand what is happening to this traffic. You have customers / visitors; tells us what is your conversion rate and then identify what that traffic is doing. It sounds like you are not selling very well on your website. This is your top priority.

£55 for a pair of sneakers, of a brand I've never heard of. That's probably why you're not converting. I can buy Vans or Converse for that kind of money.

Concentrate on the printed type - that's novel and something I could imagine people paying a premium for.

Your site took an age to load, btw.

Hi, how long have you been in the market? You have to realise that there are tons of shoe sellers and the competition is intense. Everyone is spending on marketing as well and there is almost every product available in the market. It will take some more time and effort. Don't worry. Try to concentrate more on marketing now and market to specific category of people. Run promos as well if possible! Your website is good. I don't see any problem with the website. Shoes are good too (I can say because I'm also making handmade shoes). Give it some more time and you will be there! Run a focused campaign on social media.
