1) Adwords works faster than SEO - just like all advertising
2) Increase brand awareness - Only if that's what the adverts promote
3) Reach more customers through their Gmail Inbox - No it doesn't
4) Reconnect with visitors of your website - ???
5) Measure your performance consistently - No different to any other KPI
6) Explore more using your ads - I don't want them to explore, I want them to buy stuff
7) Tackle your competition better - Unless they have better adverts

Don't loose sight of the fact that Googe makes $billions from Adwords and that is at you the advertisers expense. So as others say it works and is fast etc but its expensive and a big on going cost. In the early days of the internet I used it a lot and the return was good, but quickly as areas became more competitive my return on investment fell.

As an example back in 2006 I used to pay £3 per sale for a domain name that made me maybe £3 Profit so it covered itself and expanded greatly the number of customers I had all of which renewed at some point and re-ordered. But by 2012 the price was closer to £26 per sale which meant it took me maybe 5 or more years to recover the any money back. I gave up with them at that point and stuck to SEO. SEO is better in the long run by far but PPC does have a place for short term campaigns or to take advantage of opportunities such as special offers etc.

* Adwords works better than SEO - Not always
* You can focus on multiple keywords at a time. - same as SEO (and any other sort of marketing)
* Increase brand awareness - No it doesn't
* Reach more customers via Email (Gmail) - Only if they use gmail
* Reconnect with visitors of your website - ???
* Measure your performance consistently - just like any other KPI
* Tackle your competition better - unless they have better adverts (and landing pages)

Did you get your list from the same place as @Joel Huang ?

He only copy paste the post of the member @Joel Huang and add some also copy paste from other source.

We all know that PPC is a fast paced marketing style and it is not always better than SEO but rather using both method would be more effective. They have different specialties and limitations in the market.

Google AdWords is one of the most useful online advertising platform to bring qualified traffic to your website that is on a verge of converting. You also get complete control on how much you want to spend and you can even adjust your budget whenever you feel a need to do so.
Furthermore, you can even choose your target audience and even the devices that you want to target.

In terms of eCommerce, PPC enables one to gain instant visibility with a target audience but it needs ongoing refinement - ideally on a daily to weekly basis - to ensure that it is delivering a strong return-on-investment.

PPC and Organic work incredibly well together when running integrated campaigns, as PPC provides insights that can be used in an eCommerce SEO strategy.

Both channels are involved at every stage of the customer buying journey, from generating awareness of a brand, through to consideration and the point of conversion.

Essentially your PPC data enables you to gain insight into top converting campaigns and keywords, allowing budget to be focused on these and then insights gleaned to inform an SEO campaign that will assist in increasing visibility and revenue generated.

You will generate greater returns if you consider how both channels can complement each other as part of an integrated campaign.

adwords is the quickest possible way for any business to get exposure and relevant traffic to site.
One of the quickest. There are other ways to do it. And a lot depends on the products or services being offered.

measure time on site on Adwords clicks compared with time on site with Organic clicks! You need a very specific offer in my view to make Adwords work and pay. I use it to promote Last Minute Weddings, specifically, and have lesser niches with low daily spends. I change the spend level seasonally according to when each niche area is most likely to buy, so you need to keep adjusting the budget. There is a lot to making it pay and even with using separate landing pages, it is often difficult to track a sale back to Adwords or Organic traffic. I have not really advanced enough myself with Adwords other than to know there are good periods of the year to use Adwords for each niche.

This 'Adwords' thread started onJan 24, 2018by: Sunny_Surya who then answered their own post on Feb 1, 2018 with their second and only comment on this forum which was just as spammy as the initial question.

Given the OP has left the building what value is there in continuing this thread as it seems many responses just seem to be generic "yes, do the Adwords"?

    Can we archive this thread?
