What American Products Sell in the U.K.?

I am an American college student who will be living in the U.K. for about 4 months. I am looking to get an online business going while I am over there. Are there any particular American products that are hard to get in the U.K. and would sell well if I went through the effort to bring them over with me? If anyone has any suggestion feel free to post it down below. These are some ideas I had so far:

-American brand cigarettes
-American clothes
-Electronics
-Food
-Athletic Gear

Food - American sweets (candy)/chocolate bars and cereals (Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms etc) - the supermarkets over here (Tesco, Asda etc) have started selling them and some smaller/independent retailers and online stores but they are expensive (£4.99 for a box of Fruit Loops - I love them but I won't pay that for cereal). If you do some research and can undercut them considerably then you might do well but it depends on the demand and how/where you plan to sell them.

Here is an example of an online store importing american sweets/drinks/cereals etc

Just about everything in your list is available in the UK. You may pay higher prices but you can get the products. But be careful about bringing stuff across, cigarettes especially will need to be imported and duty paid. Many electric items have similar restrictions. And food you can get in the USA may be banned in the UK (because of the ingredients).

Be careful of electronics, you will need to supply a converter to 240Volts if they are mains powered. Most of the smaller American items can be bought easily over here. They are expensive but that is mainly due to the shippage costs, import tax and VAT.

To do a proper job the goods would need to be truly American (as per the American Football (rugby for sissies) helmets or even proper American white goods that are always chunkier than the pretend ones over here, but they will require you buying an awful lot and investing a lot of money. To make any real money you need to be importing a lot, usually by the container load. Bringing in a few American ciggies and trying to avoid the import duties and VAT is an easy way to make sure your visit is a lot shorter than you think, or at least your lodging may change
