Hi Guys,
We've been asked by one of our contracts to provide a webpage for their clients to be able to book courier collections.
This will feed into our backend system via API providing we have their details on our database.

We provide bespoke collections in a niche market and all collection details will be known to our database

Sounds simple right?

Any ideas how/who can help us with this

Thanks

Not at all complicated.

It's just a booking form that on submit probably sends an email but them passes the info on to your API to update your system.

If you don't have a client record the API could create one for you.

AI could probably write most of the code for you. Or you pay a developer for their time - AI will do the basics but it's not very good at form validation and useless at APIs.

It’s a lot simpler than that. Single package collection daily from the same locations and deliver to a set of fixed locations. All the customer has to do is click on a button to say the package is ready for collection

Thought it was time I updated this thread

We asked @fisicx to look at this for us and he explained things in terms a 5 year old could understand which was fantastic for me.
After lots of testing and breaking (mostly myself breaking it.. Garbage in and garbage out right!!)
So after lots of tweaks and me changing what we wanted and adding extras as we got further into it, We are now about to roll out the 5th and final phase.

What started as a simple site has grown behind the scenes and I can't thank Graham enough.

I think the hardest part for Graham was A: integrating with another 3rd part app especially if they change something which breaks it B: the customer breaking things..( a little bit of knowledge can be dangerous)

But a massive thanks the Graham

Defo owe you a beer!!
