Yuk yuk yuk

You have fallen into the web design trap that a big hero image and animations are any use.

I have no idea what your tagline means. I scrolled down a bit and saw you are passionate about something. I scrolled more and saw a load of jargon filled boxes.

I have no idea what this page is about: https://www.accountalitics.co.uk/schedule-your-session/ It's under the services tab but there are no details of your services.

The lack of useful content on the site means I'll just head off back to Google to find an accountant/bookkeeper.

Get rid of all those annoying hero images and animations. They just don't work. And start filling the pages with useful content. A list of the services you provide would be a good start.

Hi Anna,

There seems to be a little too much on the homepage. Is there a reason why you have affiliate links/banners on there too? If I am going to your website, I want to know about you and your business. If you need to have them then they would be much better on a separate page (under partners) with a description as to why you are recommending these third-party services.

The header image is a little too generic and too big. The text over the background looks a little lost. It could do with a little spacing and maybe remove the animated elements

Hi Anna,

The colour of strapline is not a goodbmix with the background and I agree with @fisicx on it’s meaning... how many people have a track to a dream? On Track to Succed would be ok.

Pops ups are annoying and cover users initial view on mobile screen... maybe introduce after a period allowing users to read before ‘wham!’

Social icon strip go across your logo / brand image... maybe drop to footer... are you promoting your business or social media co’s?

Hope these points assist you in making improvements.

Several of the logos of the other companies you have included on the website are too large in my view. Your logo is quite small in comparison to most of the others. My thinking is that other companies' logos should not be bigger than your own logo. After all it is Your website and it is there to promote Your company.

I viewed the website on my laptop and I found having to scroll down past the large photo banner at the top of each page annoying. It means that you have to scroll past it each time you change page making navigating the site slow. In general I found the amount of scrolling you have to do is annoying - maybe reduce line spacing of text as well as doing something about the photo banner?

Less of the nebulous text about "visions" etc as others have mentioned would be better.

Apart from the above, I thought the website looked clean and professional. The video was helpful. If it was commissioned by you, it certainly was worth getting made.

Google will penalise slower sites. You can look at the results yourself on website.grader. com
Scores you down for not having a sitemap!
