web pages displaying incorrectly

Hi,

We have 3 people each with their own machine but one of them has a tendency to display certain web pages particularly our Shopify store (but not just that one) incorrectly and not load it properly. (sadly cannot post screenshots) due to being new user.

But after a refresh it displays correctly again.

She has tried different browsers such as Chrome - Firefox - Edge but all do the same.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks

Danny

One common issue is the users display is zoomed. So in Windows Control panel you can set a zoom level. If this is set above or below 100%, it is effectively making sites display at a different display than the browser window size, and can cause layout problems. It would impact all browsers so sounds like a possibility.

Thanks for the suggestion however magnifier isn't active and the problem is still there.

If you create the problem on the users desktop, and then try pressing CTRL + and then CTRL - are you able to get the display looking correct? If not what happens when you zoom in and out?

Your probably going to need to link to a screenshot in order to demonstrate the problem.

Sounds like a problem with some Javascript even or cookie based thing, you should pay real web developer to look more deeply in that pages in order for you to see them well ? How do you think it's going on here ? I bet that it hurts your business.

Shopify CDN (Cloudflare) sometimes does not work properly. It's designed to counter DDOS attacks but caused many problems. At the first time you load the web page, it has to download many js, css and image files, CDN will block some files due to DDOS protection, then you refresh the page, it just downloads the missing files and CDN allows you to download them.

This problem usually occur on the IPs have accessed to Shopify server too frequently.
