Good afternoon,

First post.... I am wondering if someone can point me in the right direction as to where is best on looking. I am looking for a pay monthly web designer to design my new companies website again for a monthly fee and manage the hosting/domain etc.....

I am looking for someone who will listen and advise me on certain things and I have already the colour theme and everything else in mind. If there is a questionaire to fill out and send back that will be great as it will give me a rough idea as to price per month.

The chosen person will be taken on for other projects within the company as I will be needing Logo and Leaflets designing soon as well and some marketing experience too.

Feel free to PM me but only if you offer a pay monthly solution otherwise please don't waste your time in messaging me. (Please do not take any offence)

Thank you again for reading and hopefully speak soon.

You're unlikely to find a competent web designer / developer who is prepared to work purely for a monthly fee, since he / she will invest significant up-front time and effort in creating your site and will expect to be paid for that as soon as the work is complete (not months or years later).

If you are willing to pay for the initial design / development work as a project, you'll no doubt find plenty of candidates who are also happy to provide ongoing hosting, support and incremental development work for a monthly follow-on fee.

Logos and leaflets and marketing are different skill sets to those needed for web design.

And I'm not even sure you can build a website on a pay monthly deal. Hosting and managing maybe but a complex website can cost thousands of pounds to develop, I doubt a good developer will want paying in installments.

However, maybe you will find a willing partner so good luck.

We offer a maximum of four months on larger projects subject to credit checks and installments have to be paid by Direct Debit. Anything longer than that though and it's not financially viable at all if you are going to do a proper job on the site.

You could do £2000 of work and then find the client goes bust, gets bored etc before you've barely recouped a fraction of the amount owing for your time spent.
