Web Design course

Hi

I am after some advice on what courses i should be looking at doing to become a web designer i have seen a few courses which are distance learning on the e-careers , computeach, and home learning collage websites computeach being the most expensive and e-careers being the cheapest.

What course can you recommend for me to do ? I am currently working full time so the only free time i have is in the evenings from 6 30pm onwards and when i get a few days off in the week.

What do you mean by webdesign?

Do you mean layouts, imagery, themes, coding, developement, CMS configuration, UX or something else?

There are so many different skills involved in website design you may need to decide which ones you want to focus on.

Most local authorities run evening classes and there is usually one covering the basics. Or you could just go buy 'webdesign for dummies' and start there.
