Hey again, its been a while so I thought id pop in to say hello and update you on how my life is progressing. Not that any of you care... but hey your probs all on your holidays so im sure you have time.
I'm glad to see that the site has grown with more members than ever
and I trust everyone is enjoying the great British summer, phsyc.
For those of you who don't know me, my names miggz, im 16 and from winchester UK I just got my GCSE results which is dead exciting ... no joke and am pretty pleased. I'm currently bumming around being a teenager, drinking, smoking unclassified things, waking up late, eating excess amounts of kebabs and generally having a wale of a time. The last 3 months have been awsome and ill be sad when my long long long summer comes to an end
. In september I will be attending Peter symonds college where I intend to study Law, economics, philosophy and sociology - God forbid.
So last time I posted must have been 6 months ago, I think i was just preparing myself to prepare for the preparation of my Exams. I remember being quite nervous and asking a number of you for some career advice, well ive grown up abit since then and am now pretty content in doing somthing with international law. Perhaps joining a charity and fighting for human rights or even better becoming a lawyer for the UN or the EU either way I think that would be somthing i'd like to do.
After my exams I was extremely anxious, realising that id done no revision or work for my GCSE's I started contemplating other future paths. Joining the army was a real consideration and somthing I hope I do not regret turning down, I love adventures, excercise, pressure and the adrenaline buzz that you get from doing these things. In the end though i aced my exams, doing much better than I ever thought I would.
It just goes to show that you don't have to do any work in school to do well in GCSE's... I know your probably all dying to know how I did so here are my results,
Humanities: A*
Eng Lang: A
Eng Lit: A*
RE: A*
PE: A
Maths: B
Science: A
IT: C
History: A
(lol this was funny. I spent 2 years studying the coldwar in preparation for my exam, on the day I did 1 paper on the Vietnam war which I thought id done soo badly in so the next quest I thought F it, ill do somthing random so I picked to do the middle east and Israel after 1960 instead of the Coldwar... still got an A... yer baby)
Design Tech: C
... (note: I got entered into foundation exam which meant i could only get a C bearing in mind my coursework which is 60% of the grade got 103/105 which is an A* and the best mark in my year... I didnt have to go to the exam and i already had a C... I was quite p!ssed off.)
So 3 A*'s 4 A's a B and a C.
Boy was I chuffed.
Well thanks for reading... theres an update on some of the things ive been up to maybe ill pop in again in a couple of years time to tell you how my A levels go thanks for all your support, phsyc,
.
Have a good life and remember to keep making lots of money.
Kind regards Miggz
