Hi,

Here is a great offer for all UKBusiness members -Vistaprint are offering 250 Free Business Cards.

No purchase is necessary, the free business cards come with a tiny VistaPrint logo on the back of the card - it's a little free advertising for you, and a little free advertising for them.

They also hope that customers will like the quality so much they will buy more cards!

They also offer other freebies - worth taking a look as you could save your business several hundred pounds. Visit the site. << link removed by Mod >>

This is a joke isn't it?

The free cards are printed on junk card, the print quality is poor, you get a BIG vistaprint logo and then marketing emails forever more.

Avoid avoid avoid

Vista Print isn't a bad print firm. I've a few business colleagues who have used them for their business cards, and I was actually quite impressed with the quality of the product. However, this is for paid work.

I agree with the other posters, the freebies are not worth it. If you want people to take your business seriously you are not going to have someone else's business name and logo on your card.

I don't recommend Vistaprint!

Their Business Cards are OK. Never get FREE logo supported business cards - you are paying for P&P anyhow.

They spam you non-stop - you can opt out if the link happens to work.

They aren't UK based and turnaround is excessive. I purchased with their £5 offer once, delivery was about £9 and took close to a month. You can purchase quicker delivery times at a high premium. If using paypal you go through PayPal before knowing the final bill and thats when the cost increases significantly.

I personally would have not registered and gone with Vista Print if I knew how slow and expensive delivery will be. (Not to mention the constant nonsense they email me with) I gave in as I put all my details in anyhow and designed the cards - too much effort to abandon. I would rather have paid double for a shorter turnaround based in the UK.

I would absolutely recomment Vistaprint. I think they offer a brilliant service, I design all mine on line and can do it from home. Sometimes it takes a bit of work to get things exactly what I want due to templates, but I am happy with the service I get.

I have never had the free 250 cards because I have always paid more and upgraded but even with postage and cheaper card, it is still quite a good bargain.

I think most people who do not like Vistaprint are rivals.

Just my experience, if someone wants an example of one of the cards we have produced with businesses, please pm me and I will get one out to you.

I am not linked with Vistaprint apart from being a customer and no, I am not getting paid to "promote" them but I do believe in credit where credit due even if that credit does go against the grain.

No, not rivals or there'd be 1000's of biz card sellers wouldnt there.... Nope, these are complaints from genuine consumers. VP did force you to sign-up to additional 'offers' and I dont recommend you do this - I wont be using VistaPrint ever again.

I use and recommend Vistaprint for exactly what they are - bargain-basement start-up printed mattter. Even though 'free' isn't exactly true.

Thier slow delivery generally turns up in about 5 days and their quality is adequate.

I have 2 accounts, one with spam on and one with it off - the turn off works perfectly - I am never spammed. The other acccount is spammed on average every other day - which is fairly unobtrusive.

They aren't really a competitor to the professional printers on here - simply a stepping stone.
