Viewing 'source' of a website?

Using my mouse if I right click on any website, scroll down and click 'view source', I am able to view the website's html and all sorts of coding it is using.

My website: How do I stop people from viewing the 'source' of my website?

don't worry about it at all - all your important business logic should be safely hidden away on your server and only thing being shown is the code for the representation of the page you are seeing on your screen.

If it can be seen in a browser then it is already on that person's pc and it can viewed in as much detail as they wish.

As the other posters have said - life is too short, do what you need to make your business successful and let others worry about their businesses. More often than not people buy from a site/company because of the relationship they have. The website is just an introduction for new customers in many cases.

Hope this helps

Looking as your source code Catherine, I wouldn't worry. It's so poorly coded that nobody is going to want to steal any of it.

In any case the code is not copyright. All you have protection over is your content.
