Video conferencing options

I'm looking for some recommendations for video conferencing hardware for Zoom & Teams.

My business partner is not particularly technically minded, so I need a setup to improve on what they currently have, which is an iPad Pro. They use this so their laptop can still be used during the call.

3 issues:

1 - The sound quality is awful
2 - The positioning of the iPad is awful (low down, angled upwards)
3 - The lighting is bad

It would be ideal to carry on using the iPad Pro. I'd like to mount the iPad about 10 inches off the desk so it's higher and can be placed behind the laptop.

I'm struggling to find a suitable stand for this though, as most I can find are quite small, and not suitable for a 12.9 inch iPad Pro.

Second, can an external microphone be plugged into an iPad Pro (I'm not an Apple user myself). Ideally, something that's directional. Doesn't need to be amazing - just better than the built in mic.

Finally, any recommendations for a basic ring light that can be placed behind the iPad Pro?

Hopefully the above can all be achieved - the alternative is a basic PC with decent webcam and external microphone, but it seems like a lot of extra hardware to achieve this!

Thanks :)
