Very silly question

If i am using a ready made web package for my shop can i view the source and copy and paste into dreamweaver and then develop the site from their?????

All you will see is the resuling html not the code behind it.

It depends what package you use. Most of them come with source code, which you can edit if you want.

As confused said though, if you simply view source on your pages you'll only see the "output" rather than the actual code.
