    Hi Guys & Girls,

Quick & simple question - anyone here have any knowledge of pricing for vehicle wrapping? I'm sure I once saw someone around here who did it.

We've been asked to quote for this twice in 2 weeks by seperate clients (bus syndrome...nothing then 2 come along at once!) so would be handy to get some indication of the costs involved.

    Cheers Folks

Very expensive. We had a Transit size van done ages ago for about 1500 quid.

When we had our Yeti Smart car done it cost around £500.00.

I suggest ringing round as the quotes were stupid high for most places cos they outsource and whack on a margin.

This is the company that did ours: http://www.signwerx.co.uk/

Will try and post a pic of the car below, it looks very good (well, I think so anyway).

    And another...

Hi we produce vehicle wraps (in-house) for customers. obviously size dictates cost here. A transit sized van would cost you around £1300-£1500.

If you would like any advice on this subject then please contact me.

My email address is info at ceguk.co.uk or 08432 897 102

my old work had their delivery vans wrapped - medium wheel base, medium roof transit vans fully printed and wrapped for £1100 each

it would have been £1400 inc VAT if there was only to be 1

Thanks for the price comparisons on here, we've just been quoted £2,900 for a campervan that we've already got the artwork for. .... I think not. Just trying the companies mentioned above now.

that sounds very expensive as all theyre doing is printing it and applying it if you are supplying artwork

Bargain a weeks work actually fitting though, fitters tend to do a few jobs at once

How much to wrap 5 new Astra vans? do these things come off on you decide to sell the van?

Do you do a design mock up first?

yes they come off, its just like sign writing a van, its just stick-on vinyl, probably easier to take a wrap off as it has a large circumferance volume as opposed to individually peeling off phone numbers and small email address letters like on my vans

Any decent company will give you a draft for you to go over and you can highlight anything you dont like or want changed

I would have thought a full wrap would preserve the paint underneath.

We've all seen the old royal mail or RAC vans going round with the logo clearly visible where the stickers used to be:D

it will preserve the paint, any imperfections on the paintwork will be highlighted under vinyl though

Had a Mini done by a local company, full vinyl wrap, £800 + VAT.

BTW that 10 Yetis Smart looks like a complete wrap to me, not just "a few stickers".
