Hello Guys (and gals)

For those who don't already know, I run a telephone-based networking business called Networkology (www.networkology.com) - I wrote a thread about the launch here http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=200725

Over the last month or so we have grown to just over 200 members and have put on 4 or 5 events. Still early days but we are growing and have had some decent feedback.

I'm constantly looking for new ways to reach small business owners, and am looking for some advice on potential new methods of doing this.

We have played with lots of different methods so far, with varying degrees of success including:

Telesales
Direct Mail
Google PPC
Facebook PPC
Email Marketing
Giveaways

Telesales & Giveaways have been particularly good for us in terms of aquiring new members.

So here is the thing, due to the relatively low-cost of my overheads to run the events, I can afford to give away a certain amount (probably 3-6 months) of free-access to the site to attract a user.

I'm wondering if I might be able to package this up into somekind of "Free 6-month Networking Voucher" which I can send out.

I know Google often send out vouchers (yes slightly different I know, but a similar principle) for varying amounts to entice people to use Adwords.

Does anyone else successfully use vouchers or givewaways to gain new business??

Thanks

Trev
