Using PayPal for business purchases

When making a purchase as a personal customer B2C you have additional writes than you do as a B2B. Likewise i believe (please correct me as i do not know) you only get the debit and credit card protection for non business transactions. If you use PayPal do you get the full PayPal protection even if its a business transaction? If you do it might be useful to use in some circumstances.

Yes you do have full protection.

If you're just sending money via "paying for goods or services" then just include all relevant info and details to the purchase in the notes section to ensure there's no confusion of what was included in the purchase.

If you're purchasing something from overseas be aware that you're responsible for return postage still as with B2C paypal claims

I love using PayPal for payments because you have a very nice look in your wallet and where you spend your money.

No seller protection for intangibles, such as digital downloads, domain names etc. Plenty of horror stories out there.

using paypal for anything other than on ebay gives you very little protection, the only way you will get a refund for any complaints / issues is if the seller has funds in their paypal account, at the time paypal attempt to refund you, if they don't, well it's tough, it's the terms you have agreed to.

Credit and debit cards wont cover you, they will just tell you to go to paypal, as you've essentially just bought 'currency' from them

paypal does refund no matter if its ebay purchase or not
