There are premium plugins you can get to bulk upload products.

What exactly is the difficulty?

Every week the images will be different as I deal in confectionery. Some images may not be on the net for download purposes.
You can't use someone else's images without permission.

When the product arrives in your warehouse take your own pictures.

Depends on the product range.

If you have variants you need to pay for the upload suite. If not then the built in uploader will suffice.

Set up a folder on your server and upload the images using FTP or SVN. If the image names are the same as your SKU linking everything together becomes easy.

Is there a limit to how many products can be uploaded at any given time
Neither of those plugins are any use to you. They are for customers to upload images so you can make custom products.

If you want t bulk upload images to your site they have to reside on a server somewhere.

There are loads of ways to do this. Once you have it all set up you can almost automate everything.

Sort of...

You need to take time setting up the image filenames so that when you bulk upload the images to the server they all align to the image URL in the woo upload CSV.

I used the SKU for both, that way I could automate a lot of the CSV creation (it filled in the image URL for me).

A lot depends on how many products and how often you plan to upload.

Are there variants for the products? For example: boxes of 10, 20, 50. There would be variants of the same product.

On average I’ll be uploading 80 different products weekly. Upload will be done twice a week. Every week product image and details will be changing. Would the above approach for my business needs
