I am a green hand in international trade. Do the trading documents need to be translated by translation company?

Actually that's not the point. It's more important for your documents to be notarized or certified in a proper way. The quality of translation depends on the translator, you will overpay to the agency. They are often mediators, transfering your task further to freelancers. For example, I cooperate with a couple of translation agencies as an English Russian translator. These guys often forward the job to me.
