There are concerns over my Forum/Life balance

Can this be changed to something more "business like"?

The words JustOneUK and concerns shouldn't appear in the same page.
Especially not 1,600+ of them. :|

... and my life balance shouldn't really be highlighted no matter how often I post, should it?

It would appear you are 'penalised' for being a proactive site member :D

Its done in a sense of humour, but then again if businesses are crossing your thread and see that, they may think you spend all your time here than running your business, depending how they look it it

Add it to the forum review thread.

Are you serious? :|

Surely light heartedness like this isn't a problem to anyone - you or your potential customers?

Yes, I believe it's a bad subliminal message.

If it said "Excellent poster" then that would be preferable, don't you agree?

I didn't mind being 'part of the furniture' - but don't want the new tag to be hanging around for the next 800+posts (or however many 100/1000s it takes)

I have concerns about your eye-site if you've only just noticed that bit of text, JustOneUK :D
How long HAS it been there? :p:|

I too have concerns over this statement and believe it may be bordering on the point of libel as I suspect it may bring to the causual viewer suspicions as to my sanity, and therefore damage my reputation on the World Wide Web losing me millions of pounds worth of new business every week.

I shall therefore be issuing a writ for damages to the amount of £10.00 for deformation of character.

As a protest I will not be visiting this forum for a period of 30 seconds.

Depends on whether or not said viewer goes on to read your posts, Earl - that could make or break your case and I, for one, ain't giving an opinion on that!! ;):D

I agree with JustoneUk. There is no room in business for the humour that he calls subliminal, or any light touch for that matter. No Sir.
So-called 'funny stuff' has no room at the Inn of cyber commerce, or any ongoing trading enterprisement as people might not take merchants seriously, which could subliminally repercuss.
This is especially true of life and death commercial operations like selling 'virtual celebrities', like Elvis Claus and Santa Presley...which are not a matter of life or death, but are more serious than that.

It should be changed to "There are concerns about whether my pills are still working".

That's twice in a week you have mentioned the Celebrity Deeds website.
This actual thread and this one. Do you have a problem with it - or something you need to get off your chest? ...Why the special attention?

If it helps... I made this special Deputy Dawg page just for you :)

Oh.....my dear, here I am, fully managing my life, doing well by all accounts and victim of libel and slander and all sorts with no compensation......Laughing quietly so as not to wake my angel and thinking who cares.

The number of times I have heard the word concerns by stalking/hounding health visitors in the three years beats any records I know of.

I see its all in jest these postings ......but still my dear even the most wiggiest big wig has to pop and generally do pop something or the other to keep them sane, life is hectic, all you have to pray is that your doctor does not give you something that has you up all night, feeling like a zombie, gives you nightmares, prevents you from maintaining a focus on life or your job, causes you to exhibit behaviour that is uncharacteristic and endangers your life or livelihood and OR worse still bends laws and statutes and encourages people unknown to you to dose you and random intervals.

Thank the lord, yes Forums are like a second family, a sounding off ground where you don't have to talk and waste calories....it can take over your social/work time, but you can find the balance once you get what you want out of each aspect.

Try a to do book and work if you can while logged on to the forum.

Take a look at my website its the brainchild of someone who needs community monitoring and is a danger to herself and others and at risk of all sorts, incapable of mothering, does not have the aptitude to answer a telephone or hold down a job, cannot coordinate her home and cannot manage her financial, social, sexual health and primary social affairs.

Forget yourself......the world is upside down.... there a walking men Gods these days...

A bit cruel but true!
Still you certainly don't want to broadcast that to the whole world!
Less the more cerebral prospective clients might just put two and two together and begin to wonder how such forum addicted people could possibly put in a full days work at the office!
Better not be billing them for 7 hours per day!

Well Thank the Lord my clients aren't as clever/cerebral/anal enough to think there are only 7 billable hours in a day.

Hi,

The UKBF member titles currently work like this. As ever I'm very open to changing any aspect of UKBF if it's what members want (and like the smilies this afternoon, things can usually be changed back again!).

Post count:
0-49 I'm just testing the water here.
50-449 I'm really getting into this forum.
450-749 I say quite a bit around here.
750-1499 I am part of the furniture here.
1500-3499 There are concerns over my Forum/Life balance.
3500+ There is no life outside of UKBF for me.

Let me know what you think - not just about the titles, but also the number of posts for the titles to change.

Hi Darren I find this statement a bit offensive and not giving a good and proper respect to my immense knowledge and life experience.Earl

1500-3499 There are concerns over my Forum/Life balance.

Oh sh*t now its changed to the No Life thing.....even worse.

I was referring to PROSPECTIVE clients. And if they indeed have an issue with hiring "forum addicts", you might never find out because they are unlikely to end up as your clients. Dawg, you're OK because people buying just a dog biscuit are not going to be concerned about it! And aren't they called customers rather then clients?

I obviously like them because I set them up :)
As the forum gets older though perhaps some new ones such as from 6,000 posts and up.

    For example;
5,550-8,000 = Crikey, I must be older than sirearl to post this much!
8,001+ = I post so much I've been hotwired into UKBF

I like them as they are....... if ain't broke.

IMO I can't see that potential customers would be wary because you're an integral part of a business forum - surely it's preferable to trainspotting or stamp collecting? :)

(Disclaimer : Nothing wrong with trainspotters or stamp collectors but they don't learn about SEO while participating in their hobby, that's all I meant, ok? :) )

Works for me - but then I am mad
    <<<<<<<<

And it's going to work even better for you, Ray - now that that you've replaced that picture of you with one of a happy and smiling person!
Good move ... but who is he?
