    Even if you are following a bunch of people and even if they are following you, this will not assure you an increasing traffic. Most are looking for friends and people to count on. If you follow their tweets and give the reply that you might succeed.

    Nothing is assured but gaining a following is what it is all about. It is up to you to give them something interesting entertaining or valuable to want to keep following and follow you to your site too. I absolutely know this works - just trying to get it to work for me but will take time and effort.

    Someone told me I "must" join twitter. So I have.

    I remember recording everything I did in a working day for about a week for a time and motion thing a few years ago. It still makes me shudder. Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong!

    Anyway, I'm here @robleaney.

    I might be less confused by the time you check it out.:p

    I was facilitating a workshop last night and Twitter came up. I asked how many people had an account and it was about 3 out of 50 including me. One was an aged consultant like myself and one was a young graduate - most there under 30. So we are certainly pioneers on Twitter but that is probably an attraction.

    Really new to it but it is highly addictive. Noticing website traffic coming from Twitter and as soon as you tweet on a subject you get followers. Looks like a good way to generate traffic for your blog or generate visitors to your videos. Now up to 36 followers @RubyVizcom

    EDIT: Sorry, just looked and it seems I'm now being followed by 'officialblazinsquad'. lol, I commented 'lmao, blazin sqaud are back' and days later they added me. Is this some kind of technology being used by them? I'm hardly a fan...
