The new Sift footer..........

I think the wording could be more professional...or rather Sift could be more creative over how it promotes it's other sites....simply listing a few sites does not turn on anyones saliva...

Sift...if you are going to use that space...don't bore us with links...Excite us with adverts ! "At Finance link, we do not just provide you with todays data, we can give you the information to make you rich" - Finance Link - Giving you everything you need to make your investments work. Subscribe today. Supported by Sift."

...............Solid Brown............against a blue forum..............Yuk :p

Ah, come on, let us have a little fun! ;)

Seriously, it shouldn't be brown - are you running sRGB on your monitor?

As with any business with multiple brands, there has to be an overall holding brand - in fact, we've got the same challenge on all of our sites (MyCustomer.com is the only one on which we've used this new footer).

Ford wouldn't change their blue oval to match the colour you chose for your car ....... and here I am comparing Sift Media to Ford???!!! :D:eek:

They could do it in sky blue pink and it wouldn't bother me....might attract some new members though!! :D

Still can't get my head round why people comment about something I hardly ever see....I scroll as far down as 'posting rules' and never imagine there's anything worth reading below that!!! (Sorry, Sift, just how it is for me!).

Of course, that also means I don't click on your links!

Click on "new posts" when there aren't many and you hardly have to scroll
at all to see it, and the "posting rules" message isn't there.

But once you've seen it and been offended by it, surely it's not hard to ignore it? ;)

I've seen worse - and at least I don't have to put up with ad's all the way down the side of the forums etc!

It really doesn't bother me (were it is, Darren...forget that top of page stuff!) .
