Telesales Outsourcing?

Hi all,

Can anybody suggest a good company I can outsource telesales to?

Very knew to the concept, do they deliver sales or leads, and do they charge per result/commission, or for a flat fee?

Hi James

There's usually different pricing available so probably worth you having a think about what you want to pay for your business.

Flat fee such as hourly or daily rate is one option or you could possibly negotiate a lower fixed rate plus bonus, or a pay-per-lead or pay-per-appointment (possibly subject to a short fixed rate trial) or commission only.

Generally speaking commission only will be the most expensive but the TS co will cover the risk rather than you.

If you do go for pay per lead, pay per appointment, or commission only, you may need to think about whether you want to have reporting on everyone that has been contacted for you on your behalf or not.

If its appropriate for you then you might consider telemarketing instead of telesales where the deal is not closed over the phone for you but qualified leads are identified and generated for you or someone else in your business to close via a second call or appointment.

Speak to Lesley, she'll advise you on this, however, never expect a quick return. Telemarketing is just like any other marketing, it can take time for the business to start to pour in. You really need to give it 3 months.

Sorry to say but you really don't have to wait 3 months!

You should see results after the first day although pipeline will make a difference later down the line depending on the product or service.

That does rather depend on the quality of the list they are provided with though, surely? And by 3 months, I did mean to see it really pay off. Yes, you might get several results first day, but then next two or three days nothing, and so on.

Per Hour
Per Day
Per Month
Per Appointment

So depending on what you are looking for, would dictate what telemarketing company is suited. Rate per day range from around £150 up to around £600 - so depending on your budget, also would dictate the agency you use.
