Telemarketing for Accountants

Hi
I have recently started my own bookkeeping, payroll & financial reporting business (outsourced accounts department). When I started out I wanted my first marketing effort to be phone to find out the correct contact details, send marketing letter to correct person, then phone this person again a few days after they would have received the letter to discuss. Now after contacting some of the businesses I find that I lack the inner confidence when making the second phone call. So I have decided that I need some help with this and possible other areas of my marketing. I often say to prospective clients that you should outsource what you are not good at and focus on what you are and now it is time to practise what I preach.
So, are there any good marketing/telemarketing businesses out there and I would prefer one that has some experience in finance, I am based in Plymouth, Devon but the telemarketer does not have to be local.

Marky65, will send you an email with some info. I decided a few months ago to concentrate more with Accountants and Bookkeepers as it's my background so I can talk (fairly) knowledgeably and there is a bit of an art to generating leads for the right sort of clients that you want to attract.

I was inspired by a thread on UKBF "how loyal are you to your accountant" as it gave me some good ideas for matching clients to accountants and bookkeepers in terms of preferences, styles, specialisms, fees etc.
