Has anyone got any recommendations for any good ted talks. I quite enjoy these in my "time out" mainly in the late of the night. I find they can be quite educational and some inspiring. Two that stood out for me were, son of a terrorist and the google bubble.

This page might be useful if you haven't seen it already. As the most shared and watched talks of all time, you can't go far wrong (although some of them are simply there due to the buzz of the topic as opposed to being particularly informative or interesting).

I hadn't seen that page thanks. I mainly trawl through youtube. Looking at some of the comments these seem to be popular due to the debates, unlike youtube where the most popular ones are with the high profiles, Steve Jobs and Edward Snowden Etc.

Scott has provided a very good list, I would definitely start there! Also, Bill Gates gave an amazing TED talk about overt state interference in education, check that out if you're interested.

There are some interesting talks here: Voice & Exit, with a small list here. The BBC4 (Radio) Podcasts need a bit of a search through but usually have something good. The Reith lectures are all good.
