I'm on Talk Talk! It's great, 8gb free broadband and the phone is pretty cheap too, I'd definitely reccomend them. I've been on Talk Talk for a few years now and havn't had a time EVER when it's been offline. Apart from when they were updating everything making it from 4mbps to 8mbps which they informed me 3 weeks before it happend and it lasted 20 minutes!

Use TalkTalk here too, have done for nearly 2 year without any problem. The horror stories you here can be associated with all the big players and any problems I have had are soon sorted, unlike, BT, Demon, and bunches of others I have used at homoe and work over the years.

Exactly, yeah people move from Talk Talk to others but just look at others, BT have massive problems, all of them do!

So that must mean you'd avoid them all, they don't have bad customer service it's just hard to get through, like every single big company!

That's not my experience - getting through is one thing - getting someone who knows what they're talking about is another! They're the only broadband provider I've dealt with that has ever caused me any problems

I support a load of homes & businesses, and I have found that anyone with Talk Talk cannot wait until their contract is up to move over elsewhere.

Maybe this is just true in Northern Ireland, though I doubt it.

AOL used to give a great service for the money, but they too have fell to s***.

Have a look at Zen, etc - they get some great reviews.

All of them get good and bad reviews it's not worth posting on any forum about it unless it's a broadband expert forum! Either search google for good and bad reviews, I did this and found all of them are the same, all my family have seperate contracts on Talk Talk and have been for years we switched when freeserve was took over. Never had a problem.

It's a bit like banks, one person raves the next hates.

Personally I moved to Talk Talk from Virgin and have been delighted both with the costs and the service. At virgin I had problems with connection and download limits.

Word of warning though, TT have an 18 months contract so if you do have issues then you're stuck.

Use money saving expert as your starting point - I usually do.
