Hi,

Firstly it's important that you update your Facebook page regularly with updates of your company, products and any offers you may have. This shows users the page is active and they may wish to follow you.

Each time somebody follows your page, likes your page etc, this will show on that persons timeline, thus opening your brand to a wider audience.

An alternative is to look into Facebook advertising. Although this does cost money, you can target advertisements to a specific demographic and it will help to increase likes and follows within that demographic. I don't recommend this approach if you don't update your page regularly though.

Hope this helps in some way.

You don't.

You use facebook to engage with people. As soon as you use it to promote your products people will switch off.

You sell a luxury items to a very small niche. They are not the sort of people that will want product updates or whatever. I've still got the briefcase I brought when I was a young lad, I suspect many of your customers are the same.

What you can do is the 'what's in your briefcase' type competitions or do a 'spotted in' or even celeb type thing but to be honset I can't really see it having any real traction.

As an aside - your website has all sorts of issues. If you want the rundown then you need to be a full member and post in the website reviews forum.

As James says two really key things;

Make sure you post regularly on your facebook page
If going the ad. route then find out your target customer demographic, age, gender, interests as you can do very specific targeting. Do you have much of an existing base from which to derive demographic info?
