Hi everyone,
Currently looking into finding some recurring billing (subscription) software for a small business like mine. We currently have this with PayPal for just over 500 customers, but I'll be honest it's a bit crap. They charge a high percentage fee per transaction and aren't particularly flexible. We have two packages, one for £2 a month or £20 for a year.
We are looking for something that has the ability to adapt it's payments, based on the 01 January or 01 every month. If someone subscribes in the middle of the year or month of the respective scheme, they get charged less, with the next payment due then coming out in full when it lands on the first of the month/year. I'm sure there's an easier way of explaining that but words currently escape me; hopefully this makes sense to someone.
We are a small business so paying £400+ a month likely will prove no benefit to us, however we wouldn't frown at maybe £100 a month is something exists and is functional for what we are looking for. I'd much rather pay a monthly fee than have to pay per transaction if that's possible at all.
We do have a good handful of international clients too, so it would need to be able to accept overseas payments (I understand that in these circumstances per transaction, there may well be a fee).
I'm primarily looking for recommendations based in current or previous use of software. I've looked across relevant search engines but I'd rather get an impartial opinion through this forum.
Many thanks all, happy Sunday!
