Your best bet is to chat to an accountant, and decide on whether you want to be a sole trader or a limited company. There are many company formation companies around, many are very cheap, many do a bad job.

My advice would be to locate and appoint an accountant right from the off and get them to do it.

Now finding a decent accountant can be a minefield, so I would probably see if any of the ones here want the gig. Some of them are pretty good, you know!

And you are going to have other questions as you go, too, especially if this is your first venture.

It seems that this kind of business is competitive in the market and It will require experience or expertise in the field. However, you will be needing some professional advice from the mentor/s available in your region.

I second getting an accountant on board. If you choose to go Ltd, you can have a formation agent do it as you mentioned, or your accountant can do it for you.

The first thing to check is if you need to register your business. Speaking to an accountant or asking here are good places to start.

If you want to register a limited company, you can do that direct with Companies House or using a specialist like those mentioned.

Choose between ltd and sole trader. Accountants are needed but not for formation.

Loads of info out there. Accountant imho is way down the list, if not the last thing to appoint before planning/starting a business
