As a Ltd company how much can you reasonably sponsor someone for and claim it as a business expense? I am planning a sponsored trek in India next year and the amount of sponsorship needed is huge. I will be getting other sponsorship as well but it would help to know how much I could put as a business expense.

You may be able to claim tax relief for sponsorship payments if you get something in return that is connected to your business such as advertising etc. You can claim for this this relief by treating all payments as normal business expenses.

Might the question actually be, "Can my company pay for me to go on a trek across India?"
