Hi, I am looking for few names of reliable softwares to design Custom database. Online integration not required (optional).

Any softwares you used plz do recommend me. I have already tried Access

Regards

Hi faradaykeynes,
Try out postgresql, THE open source sql database of the internet. You'll find plenty of specialists that know it and products that integrate with it. It replaced mySql as the star of the internet since that got acquired by Oracle.
Good luck

If you're looking for something like Access, and without the learning curve of programming in a full blown language like vb.net/C#, have a look at an application called Filemaker.

Its not "cheap" though. It will cost you a couple of hundred at least, whereas, other options like SQL Server Express / MySQL etc are free, but, as said, you might pay in the time it takes you to learn the software.

Another vote for filemaker, I have only played with it a little bit, but it looks very good for what you want.

Found this great software, plz let me know your feed back on it, so far i liked its features and price is just super cool http://www.ddhsoftware.com/handbase_win_desktop.html

Handbase is an old product that was around when the palm pilot PDA's were popular. I would worry about how up to date/supported it is as all the screenshots show it running on XP which is pretty dated now.

That said I guess if it does what you need go for it!
