SMS Texting from PC Keyboard

We used to use FishText to send out day before pre-delivery messages when making contact with one of our customers retail delivery points, but this seems to be no longer available .....
Can anyone recommend a similar service where we can send individual (and/or) bulk (up to 20 at a time) texts at minimal cost but not necessarily free ?

Depending on your customer base, is WhatsApp not an option?

We introduced our WhatsApp service last year and scrapped the text messaging.
What about those who don’t have WhatsApp? None of my friends do (most don’t even use Facebook)

Agreed, but that's why I said totally dependent on the customer base.

I do think WhatsApp is growing in popularity with every generation - I am in family groups and friend groups now, some of them of which are of the older generation. Even my Grandad (86) who sings in a male voice choir where the average age is around 65 have a group WhatsApp chat to arrange practices and new sets.

My Dad's on whatsapp and he's 75, I am 55 and wouldn't have it you paid me. Very hard to generalise which is why I don't think it's a suitable platform for wholesale replacement of texts. Maybe if you also send an email it could work?

I don't know a single person without WhatsApp, age groups ranging from 20's to 80's, then again I don't know many people. I thought it was the defacto standard for messaging these days for most places outside of the USA, particularly in Europe. Even businesses seem to go straight to contacting me via WhatsApp rather than SMS ranging from tradespeople to estate agents.

Anyway back to the question. I'm sure there are plenty of online services for sending texts (there are certainly loads of API's for direct integration). So for an alternative solution, you could just send via an Android mobile using Google's Messages app and Messages for web.

Never used it, don't have it as an app anywhere.
Messaging I generally use email or text. Or good old fashioned letter.
